SsangYong gets tough

SsangYong gets tough

It’s the first SsangYong to have a monocoque construction – all previous models from the company have had a separate body bonded to the chassis.

When it appears at the Paris Motor Show next month, the C200 will feature a 2.0-litre diesel producing 175bhp. This is mated to a six-speed manual transmission. A spokesman for SsangYong UK told us: “This marks the start of our push to release 20 new models in the next five years. And the car in Paris will be even more production ready than this computer rendering suggests.”
